The XX
I just read the Wikipedia page on this band, all 3 paragraphs, so I feel like I have a better understanding of what they’re about. According to the academically unreliable source that is Wiki, they’re an indie pop band from London who studied at the Elliott School. Hot Chip, Four Tet and Burial are all notable alums of the school.
I heard this song while watching It’s Kind Of A Funny Story,
New Crush
and thought it could be a good warm up song. Sure, it’s all instrumentals, but that’s part of it’s charm. As for the movie, it was aight. I think it’s safe to say I have a new crush though.
